The Pusat Kebajikan Datuk Amar Hajah Juma’ani, a RM1 million project, is being developed on a 0.35-acre land owned by Permodalan Satok Berhad (PSB) along Jalan Kulas. This initiative is part of PSB’s commitment to enhancing community welfare and providing support to vulnerable groups.
The two-story building served as the new home for PDK Sri Satok, a center dedicated to nurturing and empowering 60 trainees with disabilities. These trainees had access to various skill-building programs, including training in arts and sports, allowing them to develop their talents and gain independence.
In addition, the facility also housed PAWE (Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas), a community welfare program aimed at supporting the elderly. PAWE provided essential services, social engagement activities, and assistance to the senior citizens in the community, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
This project reflected PSB’s commitment to social responsibility by improving the lives of people with disabilities and senior citizens, fostering an inclusive and supportive community.
