Sarawak Petchem Sdn. Bhd.
Sarawak Petchem Sdn. Bhd., established on 7 June 2017, is a catalyst for Sarawak’s industrial transformation, specialising in premium-quality methanol production and diversified petrochemical operations, including the manufacture of refined petroleum products, the distribution of gaseous fuels via an extensive mains network, and the management of strategic non-residential real estate assets. On 9 May 2025, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HighChem Co., Ltd, a Tokyo-based global leader in chemical trading and manufacturing, during the Hydrogen Economy Forum. This partnership will drive the joint development of a cutting-edge plant in the Bintulu Petrochemical Industrial Complex, advancing Sarawak’s sustainable downstream growth and reinforcing its role in the global energy transition.

Greentec Forest Plantation Sdn. Bhd.
Greentec Forest Plantation Sdn Bhd, incorporated on 9th January 2020 is committed to advancing sustainable forestry practices that harmonize economic growth with environmental stewardship. Through a combination of responsible logging and proactive forest rehabilitation, the company ensures the long-term health and productivity of Sarawak’s forest ecosystems. Additionally, Greentec offers forestry services on a fee or contract basis, providing expert logging activities while engaging in the export and import of logs, sawn timber, plywood, veneer, and other related products.

Acacia Power Sdn. Bhd.
Acacia Power Sdn. Bhd., incorporated on 3 May 2024, is a leading independent power producer and a subsidiary of Permodalan Satok Berhad. On 2 December 2024, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NEXTCHEM S.p.A., a sustainable technology solutions provider under the MAIRE Group, to develop a state-of-the-art woodchip power plant in Sarawak with a generation capacity of up to 500 MW. Fuelled by acacia tree pellets and other biomass resources, this flagship project leverages advanced renewable energy technology to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable power generation. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering efficient, innovative energy solutions that align with Sarawak’s ambition to make renewable energy a cornerstone of its socio-economic growth, while contributing to Malaysia’s clean energy transition and 2030 carbon reduction targets.
