Sarawak Petchem is Sarawak’s first mega project in the petrochemical industry, developed by one of the subsidiaries of Permodalan Satok Berhad. Located in Bintulu, this project signifies Sarawak’s commitment to strengthening its position as a key player in the downstream oil and gas sector.
The project focuses on constructing a methanol plant capable of producing approximately 1.7 million tons of methanol annually, utilizing state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technology. Greentec Forest Plantation Sdn. Bhd.
Greentec Forest Plantation Sdn. Bhd. is another subsidiary of Permodalan Satok Berhad, specializing in logging and forest rehabilitation activities in Sungai Entabai, Sarikei. Acacia Power Sdn. Bhd.
Acacia Power Sdn. Bhd. is a visionary energy company and a subsidiary of Permodalan Satok Berhad, dedicated to sustainable and renewable energy solutions. The company is leading the development of a high-capacity woodchip power plant with a generation capacity of up to 500 MW. This groundbreaking project utilizes the abundant availability of acacia tree pellets and biomass as primary fuel sources, emphasizing environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
